Here are some photos which will give you an idea of what we do in class.
Warming up
We begin together in a circle with some gentle stretches followed by walking around the space to music and stretching in our own time using our own movement if we wish.
At the barre
Simple classical barre exercises help to focus the mind and body, improve co-ordination and flexibility.
In the centre
Sequences of movement to music which we work on each week so they become familiar, helping with balance and co-ordination.
Cooling down
We finish as we begin, in a circle with some gentle stretches.
