In accordance with Government Guidelines:
Registration and Payment
Registration and payment of all classes will be online where-ever possible. For the time-being there will be no drop-in classes in person.
Revised Risk Assessments
Wessex Mature Dancers have revised the risk assessments for classes in accordance with the Government’s Covid -19 restrictions both for classes in person (in conjunction with the Community Hall guidelines) and on-line. Risk assessments will be further updated with any new changes required.
Classes in Person
Hand sanitiser will be provided for use by all participants on entering and exiting the premises. Where possible there will be a separate entrance and exit to the class. Where this is not possible prior notice with instructions on entrance and exit procedures will be given. Door handles, banisters and any chairs or barres will be wiped with antiseptic spray before and after class. Participants will be required to enter the building already prepared, dressed in their exercise gear where-ever possible bringing only necessary items with them. The number of participants will be limited to enable social distancing.
NHS Test and Trace
The opening up of the Wessex Mature Dance classes following the COVID-19 outbreak is being supported by NHS Test and Trace. We will be assisting this service by keeping a temporary record of your customers and visitors for 21 days and assist NHS Test and Trace with requests for that data if needed. Only sufficient data will be passed on each attendee (name, home phone number, mobile number, date and times of entry and exit) so that each person could be contacted if there is a case of COVID-19 connected to your facility. This could help contain clusters or outbreaks. Further information can be found here. If a participant does not want to be a part of the NHS Test and Trace procedure, they must notify the Dance Leader immediately.
